School Uniform Bank Donations

We would like to extend a massive thank you to everyone who donated at our Social Flock school clothing bank drop of point in the centre. The drop off donation box proved very popular with over 1,500 items of clothing, footwear and other back to school supplies being donated in just 8 weeks.

Social Flock is a community clothing initiative who works to reduce the impacts of poverty on families across Perthshire. Thanks to all your donations we were able to assist Social Flock in their campaign to support over 300 young people by providing them with a school uniform, school bag and a PE kit, enabling them to return to school feeling confident and ready to learn.

Derek Martin, Marketing Manager at St John’s Shopping Centre said, “The Social Flock school clothing bank is a fantastic community initiative and we were delighted that St John’s Shopping Centre could play a part in supporting this campaign. It was great to see the community rally together to give the children of Perth & Kinross the best possible start back to their schooling after what has been such a challenging period for all”.
